THEO ble grunnlagt i Belgia i 1987, av optikerne Patrick og Wim, som begge driver sine egne butikker i Belgia. I dag driver Wims tre sønner selskapet fra Antwerpen.
Patrick og Wim hadde lenge kjent en hunger etter briller som ikke så ut som alle andre. Sammen med designeren Patrick Hoet bestemte de seg for å produsere sin egen kolleksjon med briller under navnet THEO. Deres visjon var å produsere noe som hadde en klar kant, individualitet og humor. Hos Theo skapes unike fargerike briller i alle former. Å designe briller som får folk til å smile er selskapets kjennetegn.
I dag samarbeider THEO med designere fra ulike områder utenfor optikkindustrien når de utvikler sine nye konsepter. Det resulterer ofte i lekne og særegne design.

high end glasses and sunglasses with personality and statement. Everything is handmade from the best materials that give a fantastic quality and feeling. Titanium, 18k gold, white gold and Japan's finest acetate are some of the ingredients. The brand has quickly established itself as one of the most glamorous and exclusive brands in the fashion world.

The Oscar Magnuson collection is defined by an expressive, as well as clean and balanced design and consists of a subtle palette in monochrome colors. All sunglasses, made from environmentally friendly acetate, are handmade by skilled craftsmen who perform the many stages of production in the company's Italian factory. The frame is equipped with first-class high-precision optical glass lenses.

The spectacle fair in Milan was a great joy and inspiration. We are constantly looking for exciting designs and brands that are otherwise difficult to find. And we found it!

Glasses fair in Florence
"He who seeks must find" and Kim August traveled to Florence in Italy to check out the DaTE Eyewear Exhibition, an avant-garde spectacle fair that few in Scandinavia have heard of.
This fair is intended as a source of inspiration for those who visit it and is the result of dedicated and enthusiastic people who never say no to a challenge and always follow their dreams.
One of the collections present was of course RES / REI which we have had in our store since 2016.
Very nice to meet their designer and learn more about the process of making glasses that are at such a high level of quality and character. They are constantly developing their collection and we look forward to receiving the news they presented in Florence.
Kim August also found a new collection we want to invest in and is now in the process of getting the details in place.
